Volunteer Application Information

Volunteers are required to fill out the online application.

Go to the KSD website > Community tab > Volunteer. 

Volunteers must be cleared prior to event date. 

Volunteer applications must be renewed each school year. 

Locks

All students are required to have their own locks for PE and hall lockers.

A set of 2 locks may be purchased in the ASB office for $15 payable with cash or check only.

Both locks have the same combination. Locks will be used for all years at Horse Heaven HIlls.

Drama Club

The club meets Mondays & Thursdays after school until 3:30pm.

ASB is required to participate.

Parent permission forms are available in Mrs.Steinborn's room 701.

Chess Club

Begins Thursday, September 19th after school until 3:20pm.

Parent permission forms are available from Mr. Bailey in the band room.

ASB is required to participate.

The club meets Tuesdays & Thursdays after school until 3:20pm.

After School Tutoring

Begins Wednesday October 2nd.

Available Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:40-3:30pm in room 301 and Wednesdays 1:15-2:15pm in the Commons.

Snacks will be available to students participating in the tutoring program.

Students will be required to sign for snacks and remain in the Commons. 

Art Club

Begins Monday, October 28th. 

Meets every Monday after school until 3:30pm.

ASB is required to participate. 

Permission forms and information is available in the ASB office. 

Knitting/Crochet Club

Begins Tuesday, October 15th 

Meets every Tuesday after school until 3:30pm.

Permission forms and information is available in the ASB office.

ASB Fundraiser

We are teaming up with Great American for our annual fundraiser fron October 8th - October 22nd.

This fundraiser supports school activities i.e. school culture, sports, clubs, student recognition, assemblies, socials, end of year celebration and much more.

Fundraiser packets and permission forms will be distributed Tuesday, October 8th. 

Parent/guardian signed permission forms must be submitted to the ASB office for participation eligibility.

Students will earn 10 PRIDE points for each item sold along with prizes given by Great American. 

The top selling class will get to make their own sundaes. 

Fundraiser collection dates are: October 15th, 17th and 22nd to the ASB office. 

Winter 1 Sports Online Registration Begins

7th & 8th grade dance & boys basketball.

Online registration must be complete and fees paid to be eligible to participate. ASB is required.

ASB $15 ($5 free/reduced lunch). Sport fee $30 ($10 free/reduced lunch). 

A current physical must be on file.

PTO Needs Candy for Boo Grams

Please drop off wrapped candy donations to the ASB office.

Boo Grams will be sold during lunches Monday October 28th - Wednesday, October 30th.

The cost is $1 each. 

They will be distributed Thursday, October 31st 7th hour.

Student Led Conferences

Detailed information will be mailed Friday, October 25th.

Conference times will be scheduled in 20-minute blocks on the following days:

Friday, November 22nd  11:30am-2:30pm

Monday, November 25th  11am-6:30pm

Tuesday, November 26th  11:30am -2:30pm

Check the November Calendar for no school and early release days during this period. 

Boys Basketball Try Outs

Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday October 21-24

7th grade - 2:35pm - 4:15pm

8th grade - 4:15pm - 6:00pm

Sports online registration fees must be submitted by Friday, October 18th to be eligible to participate. 

A current physical must be on file. 

Dance Practice Begins October 21st

For the week of Monday, October 21 - Friday, October 25th.

Monday & Friday - 2:35pm - 4:00pm.

Tuesday & Thursday - 2:35pm - 4:30pm.

Wednesday - 2:30pm - 4:00pm (dancers need to attend Study Hall in the Commons until 2:30pm).
