Volunteer Application Information

Volunteers are required to fill out the online application.

Go to the KSD website > Community tab > Volunteer. 

Volunteers must be cleared prior to event date. 

Volunteer applications must be renewed each school year. 

After School Tutoring

Available Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:40-3:30pm in room 301 and Wednesdays 1:15-2:15pm in the Commons.

Snacks will be available to students participating in the tutoring program.

Students will be required to sign for snacks and remain in the Commons.

Parents Picking Up/Dropping Students

Please use the school campus corner parking lots. 

If picking up student in loop use outside lane only.

There is alot of congestion and safety concerns with cars parked on both sides of loop.

Thank you for your help in keeping students safe.

School Delays and Closures

Parents are encouraged to sign up for School Messenger through their PowerSchool account to receive updates.

Check the KSD website or listen to local news and radio stations for updated information. Please do not call the school.

2 hour & 3 hour delay bell schedules can be found at the top under Bell Schedules.

Winter 2 Sports Game Schedule

Game schedule is posted and can be located at the top ATHLETICS > ATHLETIC SCHEDULE

**Please note** - 7B has two teams White & Black. Games are posted as white or black.

8B has 1 team with Coach Boyce.

STEM Family Night

Wednesday, February 26th from 6:00-7:30pm in the Commons.

Guests include PNNL, Reach, Manhattan Project, Tapteal Greenway, Mid Columbia Libraries, McNarry Wildlife Refuge & Tri-Tech. 

Hands on STEM challenges & experiments will be available. Admission is free. Treats will be provided by STCU free of charge.

Food will be available to purchase from Salsitas Taco Truck. 

A free 1 year family membership to The Reach and "I Love Tri" merchandise will be raffled. 

Honor Roll Assembly

Thursday, February 27th. The schedule is as follows:

8th grade recognition - 11:29 - 12:16 / 5th hour

7th grade recognition - 12:54 - 1:41 / 6th hour

6th grade recognition - 1:45 - 2:35 / 7th hour

Parents are encouraged to attend. Please sign in at the office and obtain a visitors sticker.

The event is in the Main Gym. 

7th & 8th Grade Spring Sports Online Registration

Baseball, Softball & Track registration & fee payment is open online.

Registration MUST be completed ONLINE  in PowerSchool using your parent account. 

Go to the ATHLETICS tab > FORMS for the Online Sports Registration Guidelines instructions.

A current physical must be on file.

Fees must be paid. ASB $15 ($5 free/reduced lunch) Sport $30 ($10 free/reduced lunch).

Spring Sports Spirit Wear Order Forms

Baseball, Softball & Track spirit wear is available for pre-order.

Order forms & money are due to the ASB office by Friday, March 20th.

Forms are available in the ASB office or can be downloaded. Go to ATHLETICS > FORMS

Parent Night for Incoming 6th & 8th Grade Students

Tuesday, March 3rd from 6:00-7:00pm. 

6th grade will meet in the Commons. 

8th grade will meet in the Main Gym. 

6th grade parents will learn about the transition from elementary to middle school.

8th grade parents will find out what is available for students as they prepare for high school. 

Band & Orchestra Cookie Dough Pick Up

Friday, March 6th from 2:30 - 4:00pm in the Commons.

Orders must be picked up. If unable to pick up please make arrangements with Mr. Bailey before March 6th.
